Osun Election: Davido Sends Cryptic Message To Okpebholo

Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reignited his verbal clash with Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, following Ademola Adeleke’s victory in the Osun State governorship election.

The drama began after Okpebholo urged Osun voters to reject Governor Adeleke, criticising the governor’s penchant for dancing at public functions and questioning his focus on governance.

Okpebholo reportedly told voters that even if they were offered money, they should collect it but still vote against Adeleke.

Davido subsequently fired back at the Edo governor, with the singer also mocking his academic qualification.

However, after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Adeleke the winner of the August 15 election, Davido returned to social media with another pointed message directed at Okpebholo.

Tagging the Edo governor on his Instagram story, Davido wrote:

“@he_Mondayokpebholo get ready, my brother! Make I sleep first. Nah me and you tomorrow.”

The cryptic message has sparked fresh reactions online, with many wondering what Davido has in store for Okpebholo in the next round of their public war of words.
