287 Pupils abducted by Gunmen in Kaduna

287 Pupils from a school in Chikun, near Kuriga town in Kaduna State has been kidnapped by gunmen.

National Beam gathered that the armed men surrounded the school by 8am on Thursday as classes were about to start and took the pupils.

Receiving the news, the Governor of the State, Uba Sani, assured the people of the state, that the children will be rescued, saying that they are working with the security agencies to ensure that.”

This is the second mass abduction in the West African nation in less than a week where more than 200 people were taken hostage.
