Former US President, Donald Trump faces having assets seized as his lawyer has acknowledged that he does not have the cash to appeal a $464 million fine for fraudulently inflating his wealth
National Beam gathered that Trump – the Republican candidate for November’s US Presidential election intends to challenge the judgment imposed by a New York Civil Court in February, but first he must put the money into an account managed by the Appeal Court or post a bond in the full amount, but 30 insurance underwriters have rejected his pleas for assistance.
“We will fight and defeat this Hoax,”_ Trump said in a statement as he blasted the case as a _”witch hunt”_ against him.
We further gathered that his cash crunch raises the possibility that the state of New York could begin seizing his property as soon as next Monday, unless the court agrees to a delay.
It is quite shocking to many that he could not pay the $464 million fine as he they said, has always cultivated the image of being a self-made tycoon.
