The Youths of Ebonyi State under the Leadership of Senior Specialist Assistant to Governor on youth Mobilisation, Comrade Emerike Chinedu has applauded the Governor of the State for regular Employment programs for the Youths and regular release of monthly subvention which the Youths under the Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru (FON) use as monthly allowance and upkeep.
The Senior special Assistant to the Governor, Comrade Chinedu Emerike made this appreciation during the disbursement of the monthly allowance for Ebonyi youth, especially the Youths of Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone, who were scheduled today, which took place at Ebonyi Hotel Abakaliki the State Capital.
The SSA said the Youths inclusiveness in this present Government has helped in curbing crimes in the State.
“These Youths have gathered here today to receive their monthly allowance, this cut across the local Government, Development Center and ward Executives of FON in the State. Governor Nwifuru came with People’s Charter Of Needs mantra and it is actually working in the State”. Emerike said.
Also the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Mobilisation, Comrade Eze Paul Ituma said the exercise is to ensure that Ebonyi Youths are properly engaged in meaningful ventures.
The Coordinator, Ngbo North Development Center, Awoke Godwin said the Governor mean well for Ebonyi people, especially the Youths.
Two of the Beneficiaries of the monthly stipend, Mr Nwite Shedrack from Ohaukwu Local Government Area and Nwankpu Philip Ndubuisi in Abakaliki Local Government Area said they were grateful to FON leaders and to the Governor of Ebonyi State who has deemed it necessary to include the Youths in all their activities.
They prayed that after eight years in the office as the Governor, that God Almighty should uplift him higher.
The highlight of the occasion was songs of praise by Youths who have been blessed by the Governor through FON leadership.
