Ebonyi Governor’s Wife Welcomes New Namesake As Ununu Preaches Polygamy

The wife of the Ebonyi State Governor , Mrs Mary Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru has welcomed a new namesake named after her by the deputy leader of Ebonyi State House of Assembly Deacon Joseph Ununu.

The official naming ceremony which took place at the Abakaliki residence of the lawmaker was witnessed by top government officials.

Speaking during the e event, the Governor’s wife who was full of gratitude to God for the gift of the child into the family, appreciated the lawmaker for naming the precious child after her.

Mrs Nwifuru assured unequal love and care to the child and the family. She prayed for abundant grace upon the child and also for the angel of the lord to guide and protect her while expressing optimism that her namesake would grow above her equals.

“I strongly accept this child and I am very happy. Naming of this child after me is a clear indication that you truly love me, I want to assure that this child will be a blessing to this family, any family I enter there is always God’s blessings, the mother said I didn’t disturb her during pregnancy. I am assuring that my namesake will grow above her brothers and sisters and her age mates across the world”. she said.

She also extended the deep appreciation of her dear husband Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to the family for the honor given to her, while urging the parents to train the

Earlier in his remarks, the father of the child who doubles as the deputy leader of Ebonyi State House of Assembly , Joseph Ununu said he was motivated to name the child after the Governor’s wife in appreciation to her love and support upon his family, assuring the first lady and her dear husband that he would reward them handsomely come 2027 general elections.

The lawmaker thanked the the Governor’s wife for accepting the child to be named after her and pledged to give the child proper upbringing that she deserved.

“I have multiple children but I am very pleased with this child I named Her Execellency, Mary Maudline Chimualuka Ununu”

“I married with beautiful five wives blessed with children, today I have twenty nine children and I am still producing more and more. My wives keep me happy, they struggle who will feed me morning, afternoon and night. Everytime I used to eat overdose”

“There is abundant of caring in my corner, joy, happiness and utmost enjoyment. I am urging every men to go into polygamy that is where there is life. If you check the history of those who married one wife and those who married many wives you will know that those who married many wives last longer while those who married one died between 40-45 years. In my next world I will marry more than twenty” he said

The chairman of Abakaliki Local Government Area Ebere Nwogba described the action of the lawmaker as a show of gratitude and commended the Governor wife for accepting to be named after the child.

The council chairman prayed God to provide the family with all the necessary things that would be used to train the child.

The chairman of Edda Local Government Area Chima Ekumankama, congratulated the lawmaker on the gift of the child into his family and called on him to train the child in the ways of the lord so that when she grows up she becomes a blessing to the family and the world at large.
