BENIN CITY – An aircraft operated by Enugu Air, the state-owned airline of the Enugu State Government, was involved in a crash landing at the Benin Airport in Edo State on Thursday afternoon.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, but a video circulating on social media showed the aircraft on the runway following the reported emergency landing.
An X user, @Oyindamola, who shared the footage, wrote: “Enugu Air aircraft crash lands in Benin Airport this afternoon.”
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the Nigerian aviation authorities or the Enugu State Government regarding the incident.
It is also unclear whether there were any casualties or injuries, as emergency responders and aviation officials have yet to release details.
