Addressing guests, the Executive Director of B.O.S.S Resources & Consults Ltd, Chief Sir Owums Francis, MBA, reflected on the company’s journey from its humble beginnings in 2016 to becoming a respected business development, management and business support firm with operations across multiple states in Nigeria.

According to him, the company’s mission has remained unchanged for the past decade: to build businesses that are profitable, sustainable and capable of outliving their founders.

Over the last ten years, B.O.S.S Resources & Consults Ltd has:

– Successfully developed 104 businesses from scratch.
– Provided business development, consulting and support services to more than 1,000 businesses.
– Registered and legalised over 2,300 businesses across Nigeria.
– Built a multidisciplinary team of more than 30 full-time professionals.
– Grown to actively consult for, manage and operate 39 businesses across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Asaba, Umuahia, Anambra, Enugu, Owerri and Ilorin.

With its Headquarters in Owerri, a South-West office in Lagos and a dedicated Abuja team, the company continues to provide business development, operational management and strategic consulting services to clients across the country.

Chief Owums explained that what distinguishes B.O.S.S Resources & Consults Ltd is its comprehensive approach to business development.

“Many firms stop at consulting,” he said. “We go beyond strategy. We work with our clients from the conception of an idea through planning, business registration, branding, recruitment, marketing, project execution, operational management and expansion. Our goal is to help investors build businesses that are professionally managed and positioned for long-term success.”

The company comprises specialised departments in Business Development, Human Resources, Projects, Media and Marketing, Corporate Branding and Communications, Legal Services and Procurement, bringing together professionals with diverse expertise to support clients through every stage of business growth.

One of the company’s most significant achievements has been its work with Nigerians living abroad.

Chief Owums revealed that six of the businesses currently under the company’s management belong to Nigerians in the diaspora who have not been resident in Nigeria for several years. Despite this, the businesses continue to operate successfully under the company’s day-to-day management.

He explained that many Nigerians abroad have the capital and desire to invest in Nigeria but often hesitate because of previous experiences involving poor oversight, lack of accountability or failed informal arrangements.

“Our vision is to become the bridge through which Nigerians in the diaspora can confidently establish, own and grow successful businesses in Nigeria while continuing to live and work abroad,” he said.

“People should not have to choose between pursuing opportunities overseas and investing back home. We want to provide the systems, professionalism and accountability that make both possible.”

The Executive Director also unveiled the company’s broader international vision.

Having already incorporated B.O.S.S Resources U.K. Ltd, he disclosed plans to establish a stronger international presence over the coming years, creating accessible points of contact for Nigerian and African investors abroad while helping viable Nigerian businesses explore opportunities beyond the country’s borders.

“We believe the next decade belongs to African businesses that are professionally structured and globally competitive,” he said. “Our responsibility is to help make that possible.”

Throughout the evening, several guests shared goodwill messages and congratulated the company on reaching the milestone.

Many acknowledged the consistency with which B.O.S.S Resources & Consults Ltd has served its clients over the years and expressed confidence in the organisation’s future.

Speaking during the event, ACP Michael Abattam reflected on his longstanding relationship with the company and expressed confidence in its professionalism and capacity, noting that his experience with the organisation over the years had given him confidence in its ability to deliver on its commitments.

Similarly, Mr Chidomere Ndubuisi, Chief Executive Officer of PAMTECH Group, commended the company’s growth over the last decade and praised the progress achieved by many of the businesses developed and supported by B.O.S.S Resources & Consults Ltd.

A memorable part of the evening was the presentation of special recognition awards to outstanding clients, strategic partners, mentors and staff members whose commitment and contributions have helped shape the company’s journey over the past ten years. One of the night’s highlights was the presentation of the Best Employee of the Decade Award to Mr Chima Phillips, who was surprised with a brand-new car in recognition of his dedication and exceptional service.

As the company begins its second decade, Chief Owums reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, excellence and responsible business growth.

He noted that the organisation intends to deepen collaborations with entrepreneurs, corporate organisations, investors, development institutions and Nigerians in the diaspora who are seeking reliable partners to build sustainable businesses in Nigeria.

“If the first ten years were about proving that our model works,” he said, “the next ten years will be about expanding our impact, strengthening investor confidence, helping more Nigerians build successful businesses and positioning African enterprises to compete globally.”

He added that the company’s greatest asset remains the confidence placed in it by clients and partners over the years.

“We understand that every investment represents years of hard work, sacrifice and hope. That is why we approach every business we build or manage with professionalism, accountability and the mindset that our clients’ success is our success.”

The evening concluded with appreciation to clients, partners, mentors, staff and supporters whose trust has sustained the company over the past decade. Chief Owums also gave thanks to Almighty God for His faithfulness throughout the journey and committed the next ten years of B.O.S.S Resources & Consults Ltd into His hands.

As B.O.S.S Resources & Consults Ltd embarks on its next chapter, its message is clear: the company is not merely celebrating ten years in business—it is reaffirming its commitment to building businesses, inspiring investor confidence and creating sustainable enterprises that contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economic future.
