Midnight Horror in Katsina: Bandits Kill Two, Abduct Six in Fresh Village Invasion

Residents of Dan Nakwabo and Madobai villages in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State were thrown into panic on Friday night after armed bandits launched a coordinated attack that left two people dead and six others kidnapped.
Security analyst Bakatsine disclosed the incident in a post on X on Monday, revealing that the gunmen struck at about 9:00 p.m.
According to the report, the attackers stormed Dan Nakwabo village where they shot dead a man and a woman, said to be children of a local businessman, Alhaji Dan Azimi. During the same raid, two other residents were seized and taken away.
The bandits also moved to neighbouring Madobai village, where no deaths were recorded, but four villagers were abducted in the operation.
As of the time of filing this report, the Katsina State Police Command and the state government had yet to release an official statement on the incident.
The latest assault adds to growing security concerns in Katsina State, where communities continue to face repeated attacks by armed groups.
