BREAKING: Moment Of Relief As 20 Corps Members Rescued From Kidnappers In Imo

It was a major breakthrough for security operatives in Imo State as 20 prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members reportedly held by kidnappers were rescued alongside another hostage.

The victims were freed in a coordinated, intelligence-driven operation involving the military, Department of State Services (DSS), police and other security formations.

The operation, carried out in the South-East state, brought an end to the ordeal of the victims, who had been held captive by their abductors.

Following their rescue, the 21 victims were taken to a DSS facility, where they are receiving medical attention and being monitored by medical personnel.

The development represents another significant move by security agencies in their ongoing efforts to disrupt kidnapping networks and safeguard citizens.

While details surrounding the abduction and the circumstances of the rescue remain limited, further information is expected as authorities continue to provide updates.
