As the All Progressives Congress, APC, Aspirants for the positions of Chairmanship and Councillorship in the September 27 Local Government Council Election engage in the purchase of their forms, Hon. Prince Stephen Lemachi has picked his Chairmanship Nomination and Expression of Interest forms.
Hon. Lemachi who spoke to journalists shortly after purchasing his forms on Monday at the APC State Secretariat in Owerri, urged people of Ohaji/Egbema to avail him the opportunity to lead them at the grassroot level, assuring them of quality leadership in that capacity, even as he commended Governor Hope Uzodimma and the APC for working towards the good of Imo State.
He asserted that Ohaji/Egbema people are looking for someone who can deliver, address their social and economic needs and as such he is best suitable for the position, adding that he is firmly committed to changing the ugly narratives of the Council, appealing to his people, APC members to support him to clinch the Executive Chairmanship Seat of Ohaji/Egbema LGA Council.
In a related development, APC leaders in Awarra/ Ikwerede Ward had unanimously endorsed Hon. Prince Lemachi Stephen Nzeribe as their Sole Candidate for Ohaji/Egbema LGA Chairmanship Seat, averring that Lamachi has the political capacity and leadership prowess to effect positive change in the locality which they regretted is backward in terms of social amenities and human capital development.
The APC chieftains who gathered in Owerri to cheer Hon. Lemachi on obtaining the forms, noted that they have implicit confidence in Hon. Lemachi to deliver optimally to strengthen goodness and progress of the area, adding that Lemachi is the only person they know that is eminently qualified to steer the Executive Chairmanship Seat of Ohaji/Egbema Council positively, assessing him as a pure humanitarian and a pragmatic leader.
According to them, “Prince Lemachi Stephen Nzeribe is a frontline contender in the forthcoming Imo Council Election in Ohaji/Egbema enclave. He is good, having empowered many youths of Ohaji/Egbema.
He is a popular politician with vast experience in politics, commerce and industry. Hence, we unanimously endorsed him as APC Sole Candidate for the 21st September Council Poll in Imo State. We call on the entire APC members in our area to give Lemachi full support as he is the most qualified person to be on the Executive Chairmanship Seat. Also, other political parties should embrace him for our collective goodness and respite”.
