Imo LGA Election: Osuagwu Promises to Initiate Human Empowerment Programs in Ezinihitte

Hon. Chukwuemeka Osuagwu, an aspirant for the chairmanship position of Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has pledged to initiate programs and projects aimed at improving the lives of the people of Ezinihitte Mbaise if elected as the Executive Chairman.

During his recent visit to the LGA Party Executive in Ezinihitte Mbaise, Hon. Osuagwu emphasized his commitment to launching a Girl Child Education Initiative and Scholarship Program, specifically targeting girls from disadvantaged backgrounds to promote gender equality in education.

The chairmanship aspirant also outlined plans to launch a breast cancer awareness campaign, promoting early detection through examinations and mammograms, and providing comprehensive reproductive health services, including family planning and prenatal care.

Hon. Osuagwu highlighted the importance of teachers’ training programs, intending to organize regular workshops to ensure teachers perform effectively in their profession. He also aims to provide a conducive learning environment for both teachers and students.

One of his key initiatives is the “After-School Program,” which will offer tutoring services, extracurricular activities, and life skills workshops to address unemployment in the area.

He further detailed plans to tackle unemployment through various programs, including support for small and medium enterprises, youth skill development, and agricultural training and enhancement.

Hon. Osuagwu assured that his vision aligns with the 3R Mantra of Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma, focusing on Reconstruction, Recovery, and Rehabilitation.
