The immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo State on Secondary Education Management Board, Ezeala Ferdinand Akano has once again reiterated his support for the Chairman of Nwangele, Chief Paul Chibuike Duru, saying he knows he will make his people proud.
Akano who was also the Campaign Director General for the Nwangele Chairman, made his stand known on Monday during the celebration of the Inauguration Ceremony of the chairman.
Speaking, he expressed joy saying, “I am excited that Chief Paul Chibuike Duru won the election because I believe in him, and believe that he is going to bring a new dawn in the administration of Nwangele local government.
“He has done a lot of things in the past in regards to the local government administration when he served as the Sole Administrator of Nwangele LGA, and as the Chief of Staff to the Deputy Speaker of Imo Assembly. So he is assuming this responsibility with wide range of experience that will aid speedily breed the development of the LGA.
“Therefore, I am confident that he will justify this confidence reposed in him by his people, the All Progressives Congress, APC, and by the Governor who has unwavering interest in ensuring the people of the state are progressing especially the grassroot dweller, Akano stated’
He in the same vein, called on the Nwangele Councillors to work hand in gloves with the Chairman, averring that together they can achieve whatever good plans and programmes they have for the LGA.
