Ebonyi Government Partners NDE On Youths employment, To Create 3000 Jobs

Ebonyi State Government in Partnership with National Directorate Of Employment NDE has vowed to end unemployment among Nigeria Youths, especially the Youths of the State.

The Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Commerce and Industry, Miss Laurretta Igwe-Nome disclosed this during her courtesy visit to the NDE State Coordinator, Mrs Stella Chukwuekezie at NDE State Secretariat, opposite Unity Square Abakaliki the State Capital.

Igwe-Nome described NDE as the the Job provider to the Youths in this contemporary.

“My target is create over 3000 Job opportunities for Ebonyi Youths at first phase, to complement what the Governor of Ebonyi State is doing in my own little way. Yes Governor cannot help everyone, hence my partnership with NDE to make our Youths self reliance and become employers of labour”. She informed.

“Before my appointment as Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor, I had a Fashion and Design Academy where I have trained good number of Youths. Now that God has blessed me through my appointment, I am going to use it and help thousands of youths as that would help to reduce crime in our society and at the same time boost the economy activities of the State

Igwe-Nome expressed joy over the positive impact NDE has made in the development and creation of Jobs to Ebonyi Youths through Skill acquisition

The Special Assistant said NDE has been a success story in Ebonyi State and as such, she commended highly the level of employment opportunities it has brought to the state.

On her part, the NDE State Coordinator Mrs Stella Chukwuekezie describe the visit as a welcome development as she is going to help the Governor’s Aide to achieve all her good dreams towards Ebonyi Youths.

Chukwuekezie urged other well to do in the society to emulate from the good heart of Miss Igwe-Nome.
