Desmond Elliot Withdraws From Lagos Reps Primary Race

Desmond Elliot has officially withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary for Surulere.
The Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Surulere I announced his withdrawal in a video circulating on social media on Wednesday, alleging intimidation and obstruction during the exercise.
According to him, supporters from his ward were prevented from participating in the process.
“My name is Desmond Elliot. In all zones, they have been intimidating and stopping us. I want to officially announce my withdrawal from this particular race,” he said.
Elliot, who currently represents Surulere I in the Lagos Assembly, was contesting for a House of Representatives seat under the APC.
