‘Votes Won’t Be Stolen Again’ — Ex-Minister Makes Bold 2027 Prediction on Peter Obi

Former Minister of State for Health, Fidelix Nwankwo, has expressed strong confidence that 2027 presidential candidate  will emerge victorious in the next general election, insisting that the outcome will not be manipulated.
Speaking in Abakaliki during the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) primary elections held across Ebonyi State’s 13 local government areas, Nwankwo claimed that Obi was denied victory in the 2023 presidential election but maintained that such a scenario would not repeat itself in 2027.
According to the former Izzi Local Government chairman, growing dissatisfaction with the country’s economic situation has strengthened the resolve of many Nigerians, especially youths and women, to actively participate in the electoral process and safeguard their votes.
“Obi’s anticipated victory will not be taken away again. He was robbed of victory during the 2023 presidential election. But votes will not be stolen again. He will win in 2027,” Nwankwo declared.
He added that the NDC is already building a solid political structure nationwide ahead of future elections and is focused on producing candidates for key positions, including the presidency, governorships, and National Assembly seats.
Nwankwo further stated that the party believes it has the capacity to attract widespread support from Nigerians as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
