APC, PDP, ADP political actors collapse into TMO

The Mazi (Gburugburu) Organization, TMO supporting the emergency of Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi as the next Governor of Imo State come 2027, has officially welcomed into the organization political actors from diverse parties.

The ceremony which took place at Green Western Hotel in Owerri, the State capital had the defectors; Okenze Engr. Paul Opara; immediate past APC Vice Chairman, and Owerri Zonal Chairman, Hon. Udo Agoha; former Commissioner for Agriculture and State Coordinator Big Tent, Imo State, Hon. Titus Anyanwu, Okenze Henry Unegbu.

Others include: Hon Chinenye Ezurike, immediate past Chairmanship Aspirant in the just concluded Local Government Council election, Ezinihitte, Princess Julieth Anyanwu, Engr Fred Kamalu, Dr. Uzor Mmezi, ADP State Chairman, Engr. Paul Ejiogu former and the APC ward Chairmen from Ngor Okpala LGA, present to formerly declare for TMO.

They all officially pledged their unalloyed support to Dr. Chima Amadi, were welcomed into the fold by the TMO State Coordinator, Comrade Obioma Onwuegbuche, and sworn-in into the fold by the TMO Legal Adviser, Barr. Uche Nwosu, PhD.

Speaking, the Director General of The Mazi Organization, TMO, Chief Henry Onwukwe who noted that the gathering is a march towards a great Imo, firstly appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Governor Hope Uzodimma for providing an enabling environment for social economic activities, and other things to thrive in the state and the country at large.

Saying that TMO is not here to antagonize the State or Federal Government, pledged the support of the organization to their leadership untill the end of their tenure.

He continued, ” What we are doing here today is to put Imo State on the March towards recovery, salvation and liberation, which we have seen can be achieved by one man; Dr. Chima Amadi, who has been certified to be prepared, qualified, and has all it takes to lead Imo people to the promise land.

“The State needs a new breed, breath of fresh air, a new direction in continuing from where the current administration will stop, and to achieve this, the man who the cap fits; Dr. Amadi needs good foots soldiers to ensure he emerges victorious come 2027, during the Governorship Election in the state. This is why most of us seeing his integrity have voluntarily decided to throw our weight behind him,’Onwukwe averred’.

In his Keynote address, the Spokesperson of TMO, Cajetan Duke who welcomed everyone that was present in the event, also appreciated the President of the Country, and the Governor of the State, for their commitment towards ensuring that the state and the country progresses.

Duke who officially welcomed the political actors into TMO, asserted, “Today marks another significant milestone in the journey of The Mazi (Gburugburu) Organization as we officially welcome prominent political players from various parties in Imo State into our fold. This occasion is not only a signal of a greater days ahead, but a testament to our organization’s growing influence and appeal across party lines.

“We are thrilled to have notable figures like Okenze Engr. Paul Opara; immediate past APC Vice Chairman, and Owerri Zonal Chairman, Hon. Udo Agoha; former Commissioner for Agriculture and State Coordinator Big Tent, Imo State, Hon. Titus Anyanwu, Okenze Henry Unegbu, Hon Chinenye Ezurike, immediate past Chairmanship Aspirant in the just concluded Local Government Council election, Ezinihitte, Princess Julieth Anyanwu, Engr Fred Kamalu, Dr. Uzor Mmezi, ADP State Chairman, Engr. Paul Ejiogu former and the APC ward Chairmen from Ngor Okpala LGA among others, join our ranks.

We are committed to providing a platform for all Imo citizens to participate in the decision-making process and contribute to the development of our state. Our doors are open to all, regardless of party affiliation or background.

“As we gear up for the business ahead, our organization is committed to an uncommon social mobilization and grassroots engagement with Ndi Imo. We believe that the time has come for a new breed of leaders who will prioritize the welfare and development of our dear state. With the influx of these seasoned politicians, we are confident that our organization is poised to mobilize the people to craft the Imo of their dream, ‘Duke stated’.

He therefore called on the people of the state to join them in supporting a man, who he said has come to make Imo a model for excellence in Nigeria”.

TMO Stakeholders also present in the programme were Blyden Amajirionwu, former lawmaker representing Ihitte Uboma State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Crown Njoku, Former Ikeduru legislator in the State House, Hon. Amb. Uche Ogbuagu, among others.

The former PDP State Secretary, Hon. Sir George Egu, among others were present to commend the organization.
