Thousands of protesters stormed major parts of Lagos on Friday, voicing frustration over worsening insecurity, soaring food prices, and the growing hardship facing millions of Nigerians.
The demonstration, which began at Ikeja Under Bridge, quickly drew attention as participants marched with bold placards and chants demanding urgent action from President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The protesters warned that the nation’s economic and security challenges have reached a critical point, insisting that immediate intervention is needed to prevent further suffering across the country.
As the crowd swelled, messages condemning hunger, unemployment, insecurity, and government policies dominated the protest grounds, setting the stage for what could become a wider nationwide movement.
