Deputy Chief of Staff, Ferdinand Uzodimma bags Award of Ezi Enyi Ndi NAWOJ

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Imo State Chapter, has bestowed on the Deputy Chief of Staff General Services, Hon Chief Ferdinand Uzodimma an Award as “Ezi Enyi Ndi NWOJI”.

This took place on recently when the Executives of the association led by its Chairperson, Dr Dorothy Nnaji, paid a courtesy visit to the awardee at his office in the State Government House to commend him for his “humanitarian services”.

Addressing the Deputy Chief of Staff, the NAWOJ Chairperson stated, “We are here to pay you homage and fraternize with you because we’ve been keep track of your records and antecedents, which has inspired us to be here today.

“We know you have impacted many, actually it is your humanitarian gestures that endeared the association to you.

“It on record that you have built a church in your place at Ezi-Omuma, you are also a benefactor of Reverend Fathers, and Sisters. You have also paved way for a lot of people into political positions. The one that broke the camel’s back was your gesture towards IBC when they gave you an award.

“This and many more is why we have come to make you “Ezi Enyi Ndi NWOJI”, and to also feel the pulse of your humanitarian gestures, for we know that when a man like you is behind us, advising us as a father figure, we will function optimally without fear, ‘ Nnaji stated’.

In response, the Deputy Chief of Staff, General Services, Hon. Chief Ferdinand Uzodimma (Osisiogu), welcomed the NAWOJIANS to his office, saying “I appreciate and am most honored for you, NAWOJIANS to have found me worthy for this award. Your kind gesture in remembering me in the scheme of things as regards your association.

“I also want to earnestly commend you for supporting the 3R Government of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, for I have observed that journalists in the state are very cooperative in seeing that the government of the day moves forward, I thank you all for that, ‘Uzodimma said’.

He accepted the award, and assured of giving his utmost support to the association, averring, “Consult me anytime you are doing something that requires my attention, my door is open for you”.
