2022 Constable Recruitment: Police to hold CBT for General Duty Applicants March 5, 6, 2024

The Imo State Police Command has announced that the Computer Based Test for the General Duty Applicants towards the 2022 Police Constable Recruitment will take place March 5, and 6, 2024, across five centres in the state.

The Command disclosed this on Saturday in a release signed by it’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Henry Okoye, and made available to Journalists.

The release reads:

“The Imo State Police Command is pleased to inform the general public, particularly the successful applicants of the 2022 recruitment of General Duty Police Constables that the next stage of the screening exercise which is the Computer Based Test (CBT) will commences Nationwide on Tuesday, March 5th and Wednesday March 6th, 2024.

“The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held in Imo State at the following designated centres; Alva Ikokwu Federal College of Education, Beside FMC Hospital Orlu Road, Owerri

“Delight International Schools CBT Center, Site and Services, New Owerri, Close to World Bank Market, Owerri.

“Galaxy ICT and Educational Sevices, Back of Chekwas Hotel Umueze, Amauburu Ohii Mbaitoli LGA.

“Imo State University CBT Center, ICT Directorate, Owerri.

“Little Rock School, 5 School Road, Works Layout, Opp. Cardle Hotels, Owerri

“General Duty applicants are advised to visit the recruitment portal; *apply.policerecruitment.gov* to confirm their status, specific date and time for the Computer Based Test. More so, invited applicants are expected to report at their designated CBT centers, neatly dressed in white polo, short and canvass with their CBT print out slip, which is generated from the recruitment portal and any other documents as stipulated in the online registration platform.

“It is crucial to note that the CBT test is only for applicants of the General duty cadre. A later date will be communicated to applicants of the Specialist Cadre, for their practical test.

“The Command therefore, admonishes all applicants to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and shun any form of Examination Malpractice. In addition, individuals not participating in the exercise are warned to stay away from the CBT centres.

“While wishing the applicants goodluck in the upcoming CBT exercise, the Commissioner of Police Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma reiterates the CBT exercise and entire recruitment process is free. He warned in strong terms that any criminally minded individual caught exploiting the process for fraudulent gains will be made to face the full wrath of the law.”
