The Ebonyi Youths under the auspices of Ohamadike Global Youth Movement have organized one million march for The Deputy Chief Whip of the 10th Senate, Mr Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi (PON) and also for the Governor of Ebonyi State, Mr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru (FON) for the life touching projects they have been doing in the State.
The Rally was to celebrate the good governance and better representation for both Nwifuru and Nwebonyi
The Youths during the event urged both Governor Nwifuru and Senator Nwebonyi to seek for re-election in 2027.
Governor Nwifuru and Senator Nwebonyi have jointly put efforts in place to erase poverty in the State through their infrastructural and human capital development.
Senator Nwebonyi has built world standard houses to over 250 widows and individuals. He has been paying bursary allowances to Students across Nigeria Universities, irrespective of your tribe and religion.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Deputy Chief Whip on Youth Mobilisation and Entrepreneurship Development, Ugochukwu Iteshi said the one million march is to show solidarity for the two great men, Governor Nwifuru and Senator Nwebonyi from Ebonyi North Zone.
“Ebonyi Youths have been equipped with different skills since Governor Nwifuru and Senator Nwebonyi came to power. This is to ensure that all Ebonyi Youths are self reliant.
“This rally is to mainly celebrate Good Governance and representation of these two great sons of Izzi Clan”. He added.
The Ndiegu Ward Coordinator of Ohamadike Global Youth Movement, Comrade Nwizi afraid said they are celebrating the numerous achievements of Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FON and Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi PON
The mega rally started from Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium to waterworks, through international market to spera in deo, to G-hostel and down to mile 50 back to stadium where all the participants had light refreshments.
The one million march was targeted at one million but people trooped out in their numbers which made it very lively.
