It was celebration of joy as the family of the Founder of the Overcomers Christian Mission Int’l late, Arch Bishop Alexander and Bishop Francisca Ihuoma Ezeugo gave out their Last daughter Nwanma Ezeugo in marriage to her husband Pastor Ulysses Ebiziem last weekend at the church Headquarters Aladinma Owerri.
Speaking at the wedding solemnization, the Officiating Minister, Rev Peter Joseph in his sermon admonished the couple to imbibe good virtures that will sustain their marriage.
He said for a marriage to succeed, the couples have a role to play, explaining that marriage requires trust, respect, tolerance and others to work.
He therefore enjoined the newly wedded to allow love to lead in thier marriage so as to enjoy the blessings that accrue from it.
Speaking also at the occasion, the mother of the bride and the General Overseer of Overcomers Mission Int’l, Bishop Mrs Francisca Ihuoma Ezeugo expressed happiness over the marriage of the couple and adviced them to abide by the admonition of the scriptures to make their union an exemplary one and for them to succeed.
Elated Bishop Ezeugo said she is excited that her last daughter has been given out in marriage and prayed for the success of the union while admonishing women to imbibe good character and build their homes.
She explained that marriage is an institution ordained by God, “so couples should ensure their marriages stand the test of time and avoid any thing that will bring it down”.
Speaking to newsmen, Rev Nnamdi Akujor, a renowned Minister and the leader of the church prayer force, wished them fruitfulness, longevity of the union and prayed extensively for God’s favour to sustain their marriage. He further advised them to build a godly union to enjoy all the blessings that accompany marriage.
He further prayed for young people who desire to be married for God to also bless them with their heart desires as he did for the couple.
In his words, the senior pastor, Platform of Comfort Ministries International Owerri, Rev. Barr. Princewill Odikanwa said heaven cherishes marriages and advised the couple to also abide by the admonition of the officiating Minister as it will help their marriage to succeed.
He further felicitated with the newly wedded and the family of the Ezeugo’s for the marriage.
Speaking also, the president Overcomers Ministers Forum Rev Ifeanyi C. Nwachkwu told the couples to work together as the wedding is the beginning of their living together, stating that unity will attract prosperity and other blessings associated with marriage. He also prayed for God to sustain their marriage as he wished for a fruitful union.
