It was Jubilation galore in Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area (LGA) Of Imo State, as the Chairmanship Aspirant For Executive Chairman Of Ezinihitte LGA under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Chukwuemeka Osuagwu toured round the 12 Electoral Wards in the area.
The wards are Amumara Ward 1,Itu Ward 2,Okpofe /Eziagbogu Ward 3, Onicha 1 Ward 4, Onicha 2 Ward 5 ,Onicha 3 Ward 6 Onicha 4 Ward 7 Udo/ Obizi Ward 9 Eziudo Ward 8 Ihitte Ward 10 Oboama/Umunama Ward 11 Ife / Chokoneze/Akpodim Ward 12.
Men , Women, Youths and APC Leaders trooped out en- Mass to welcome him and his campaign team.
The Exercise Offered an opportunity for the Aspirant to receive traditional blessings from the Elders And Leaders of APC in various wards.
Speaking during the Event ,Dr Desmond Chikwe from Ihitte Ward said that the people of Ihitte are strongly behind the political ambition of Hon Osuagwu
Dr Chikwe noted that the people of Ihitte will queue into the mission and vision of Hon Osuagwu in order to attract a lot of developmental projects in the area.
Also Speaking the Apex Leader in Amumara Ward 1 ,Chief Chibuzor Ernest Enweruzo described Hon Osuagwu as a man that has the pedigree to transform Ezinihitte with developmental projects.
Chief Enweruzo assured Hon Osuagwu and his Campaign team the support of the people of Amumara and expressed optimism that God will see him through at the forthcoming Party Election Primaries
In his speech , Engr Goddy Nwimo from Ife , Chokoneze And Akpodim Ward 12, described Hon Osuagwu as a man with good record and promised the support of the people of Ward 12.
In Oboama And Umunama Ward ,Chief Manigus Chilaka expressed confidence that Hon Osuagwu will do well as the Executive Chairman Of Ezinihitte and assured him the support of the people of the area
In his speech Hon Osuagwu described himself as agent of change and promised to use his position to transform Ezinihitte Mbaise Into mega city with developmental projects.
” I am the new face in Ezinihitte Mbaise,I am a new face of Governance in Ezinihitte. I am agent Of Change. I will not disappoint you people.'”
Osuagwu noted that the ward tour has offered him an opportunity to interact with the party leaders in various wards and proffer ideas that will help him achieve his political ambition and as well win the forthcoming Party Primaries Election.
He Urged the people of Ezinihitte to vote for him and assured them that they will not regret it.
The Chairmanship Aspirant thank the APC Leaders in Ezinihitte Mbaise Like the Former Deputy Governor Of Imo State , Lady Ada Okwuonu, the Former APC State Chairman Chief Hilary Ekeh And L.M Alozie (SAN) for their support and cooperation during the Ward tour
Adding His Voice the Campaign Structure Coordinator ,Ezeji I.G Nworji pointed out that it is the turn of Ezi West to produce the next Executive Chairman Of Ezinihitte and Urged the people of Ezi West to give Hon Osuagwu the needed support
Also Speaking the former APC LGA Chairman Of Ezinihitte Mbaise ,Chief David Eze Nwoke thank the people of Ezinihitte Mbaise for their cooperation and support during the ward tour and made them to understand that Hon Osuagwu will not disappoint them.
