Oru-East Council Elections: OCHICHICHUKWU Emerges NNPP Councilorship Candidate For Akuma Ward, Promises Effective Representation

Ahead of the awaited Local Government Council Elections in Imo state, scheduled for Saturday, September,21,2024,the candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP for the Councilorship Seat of Akuma Ward in Oru-East Local Government Area of the state,Rt.Hon.(Amb). Ochichichukwu Membis,has pledged to run an all-inclusive representation of the people of Akuma Ward if elected Councilor.

Speaking with newsmen in Owerri on Tuesday, September,17,2024,Amb.ochichichukwu , said that he is confident of clinching victory at polls, irrespective of the fact that he is contesting the councilorship election using an opposition political party, the NNPP, adding that he was moved by the desire to attract meaningful dividends of democracy to the people of Akuma Ward by way of grassroot infrastructural and economic development.

According to him, the people of Akuma ward shall witness effective representation and landmark transformation if given the opportunity to serve them as their Councilor, even as he appealed to the people for support across political party line for avowed victory at the polls in the overall good interest of the people.

OCHICHICHUKWU, further informed that the provision of quality primary education, primary health care,
enhanced agricultural mechanisms, rural access road-network maintenance among others are top-most in his development agenda if elected Councilor of Akuma ward in the awaited Council Polls .

He however urged the people of Akuma ward to count on his generally acceptable antecedents and track-record as a seasoned youth leader and dedicated community servant who distinguished himself in various services towards the socio-economic and political development of the ward overtime.
