The Imo State House of Assembly has embarked on 9 weeks recess.
They are to resume on September 9, 2025.
This took place during the House plenary on Wednesday.
The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Chike Olemgbe commended all the Members for their dedication, legislative contributions, commitment to advancing governance in Imo State.
He further urged them to remain resolute in carrying out their legislative functions which includes attending to the needs of their people during the break.
It would be recalled that the lawmakers were inaugurated on June 16, 2023, and so are now two years in office.
