The long-running feud between former P-Square twins Peter and Paul Okoye may have reached a point of no return, according to their eldest brother, Henry Okoye.
Henry, who spoke during an interview with social commentator Jos Connection at the family’s residence in Plateau State, expressed doubts that the music stars would ever restore the close relationship they once shared.
Although he acknowledged that Peter had made efforts to resolve the dispute, Henry said the prolonged crisis may have caused deep damage to the relationship between the twins.
“I will be happy for them to come back together but I don’t think it will happen. Paul was a very kind person,” he said.
Henry Makes Emotional Appeal to Paul
Despite his pessimism, Henry appealed to Paul to forgive Peter and end the bitter dispute.
He recalled how Peter reportedly supported him financially when he was hospitalised, urging Paul to remember such moments and consider reconciliation.
Henry also claimed that Peter had previously directed him to their elder brother, Jude Okoye, over money he was allegedly owed.
He said he had made several attempts to restore peace within the family, but his efforts had not yielded the desired result.
“I want all the family to come back. I have tried my best. Even Shehu Dantata spoke to them and they didn’t listen,” Henry said.
He also appealed to Jude to help restore peace among the siblings and bring the family back together.
‘I Don’t Know What Happened to Paul’
Henry expressed surprise at what he described as a major change in Paul’s personality, saying his younger brother had previously been one of the kindest members of the family.
He questioned what could have caused the deterioration in the relationship between the twins, while also discussing the role of their elder brother, Jude, in the family’s longstanding disagreements.
Henry said he had followed Peter’s public accounts of what transpired between the brothers and believed the dispute had gone on for too long.
How the P-Square Crisis Returned
Peter and Paul’s relationship has been turbulent for years. Their disagreements contributed to the initial breakup of P-Square in 2017.
The twins reunited in 2021, giving fans hope that their differences had finally been resolved.
However, the reconciliation did not last.
By 2024, another major disagreement had erupted, with Peter making allegations concerning the management of P-Square’s finances and accusing Paul and Jude of actions that undermined him.
Peter also alleged that another company, Northside Music Limited, was receiving royalties belonging to P-Square and linked the company to Jude and his wife.
Paul, on the other hand, defended Jude and accused Peter of being responsible for the legal troubles involving their elder brother.
Jude’s Court Case Adds Another Layer
The family dispute later spilled into the courts after Jude was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations involving N1.38 billion, $1 million and £34,537.59. He pleaded not guilty.
Peter subsequently testified in the case, alleging that Jude secretly incorporated Northside Music Limited and used it to collect royalties belonging to P-Square.
The financial dispute has continued in court. During cross-examination in February 2026, Peter reportedly admitted that he was a co-signatory to the Northside Entertainment Limited account, contradicting an earlier position that Jude was the sole signatory.
Can the Twins Still Find Their Way Back?
With the bitter dispute continuing to play out publicly and legally, Henry’s intervention has once again brought the troubled relationship between the famous twins into focus.
While he remains hopeful that the family can reunite, his blunt admission — “I don’t think it will happen” — has raised fresh questions about whether Peter and Paul can ever return to the brotherhood that once made P-Square one of Africa’s biggest music acts.
For now, Henry says he has forgiven his siblings and wants the family to put the prolonged dispute behind them.
