LG Election: Adonis Obinna picks Ohaji Egbema Chairmanship form …Says he has come to change narratives

In view of the forth coming Local Government election in Imo State, slated to hold in September 22, 2024, the former leader of Ohaji Egbema legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Chief Adonis Nick Obinna has indicated interest to contest for the position of the Executive Chairman of Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area.

Obinna who picked his Nomination Form, and Expression of Interest Form on Tuesday, is running under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Speaking to newsmen, the aspirant who stated that he has come to serve his people, and wipe away there tears, averred that the people of Ohaji Egbema are solidly behind his quest, as they believe that it is youth O’Clock; ( a time for dedicated youths like him to take charge of the LG Council).

He continued, “Ohaji Egbema is very desirous of a quick intervention for developmental strides; as the Council is in a pitable situation that really needs to be worked on.

“Infrastructural wise, the administrative blocks are nothing to write home about, due to its dilapidated state.

“Ohaji Egbema as an oil producing area really needs to be seen and compared with the likes of other oil producing communities in Rivers, and Lagos States which it’s inhabitants are progressing alongside it.

“With the level of IGR we receive, we should be able to have a conducive environment where workers are able to execute their jobs diligently, and effectively.

” Have an LG where our people will be engaged to man certain positions in the oil companies, and others, which will make the local government area advance appropriately.

” This and many more is my agenda for my people, which I have already mapped out policies and programmes on how we will actualize them, ‘Obinna stated’.

He therefore called on his people to support his aspiration, for he has come to rewrite all the wrongs, and put similes on their faces.
