Speaking to newsmen, Okolieogwu who was also the former ALGON Chairman, and former Interim Management Committee Chairman of the LGA, averred that his contesting in the election is a call to service as it is born out of the yearns of his people for him to take up the Chairmanship position.

Hear him,”My resolve to vy for the Executive position of the Oru West LG Council did not emanate out of personal interest, but from the longing of my people for me to represent them.

“They have continuously expressed delight over the manner I carried out my duties in the former appointive positions I manned, and have earnestly requested that I do this to consolidate on the projects and programmes I have attracted to the LGA through the 3R Shared Prosperity Mantra of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.

“So I am taking part in the election with the mandate of my people, which is a call to service, and not an avenue for me to enrich myself,’Okolieogwu stated’.

He therefore assured his people of not disappointing in the confidence they will reposed in him by giving him their vote in the forth coming election.
