LG Polls : Chairmanship Aspirant, Matthew Igbokwe Assures Of Quality Leadership For Ezinihitte LGA

Ahead of the forthcoming LGA elections in September, Chief Matthew Igbokwe, an aspirant for chairmanship position for Ezinihitte Local government Council has declared of his intention to deliver good and quality representation if elected to become the LG boss at the polls

Speaking during a visit to the APC Ezinihitte LGA Working Committee, Chief Matthew Igbokwe popularly known as Mmaha disclosed that his quest to contest for the election is because of his love for the people. He stated that if given an opportunity, he will deliver quality representation and provide dividends of democracy to the people.

He stated that his major focus will be on Security, primary health care, youth and women empowerment, construction of roads amidst other projects.

He maintained that though been in the race for over 11 years, he is optimistic to emerge the next LGA chairman.
while soliciting for the support of the people. Mmaha, maintained that his passion for good governance has kept him still aspiring to saddle the seat of government in the LGA level.

He also promised to leverage on his position to change the face of governance in the LGA and make it one of the best to be reckoned with across the state.

He urged the LGA APC party leadership to support his political ambitions as his emergence will benefit all and sundry.

Some of his supporters who spoke at the gathering, Nze Enyinnia and Chima Ahiwe described Chief Igbokwe as a philanthropist who has notable achievements to his credit.
According to them, the aspirant has empowered both men and women in various communities, supported the Education of young people and also built houses for the homeless. They respectively expressed optimism that the aspirant will deliver on his mandate if given a chance.

Also speaking Nze FC Adindu and Chief Ifeanyi Nwigwe also described Igbokwe as a humanitarian who has helped numerous Mbaise sons and daughters both home and abroad.

Nze Adindu stated that the aspirant has also made a mark at the party level and it’s the set time to reciprocate his gesture by giving him the chance to be at the LGA helm of affairs as he will deliver quality representation.

In his response, the Ezinihitte Local government APC party chairman, Hon Mark Adindu attested of the personality of Igbokwe and his antecedents and wished him well in his political ambitions.
