The All Progressives Congress (APC) has continued to conclude its senatorial primaries across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections, with several serving governors, former governors, lawmakers and political heavyweights securing tickets in their respective districts.

The emergence of the candidates follows the APC’s nationwide National Assembly primaries, which produced several notable winners, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, former governors Orji Uzor Kalu, Adams Oshiomhole and Ifeanyi Okowa, as well as serving governors Hope Uzodimma, Dapo Abiodun, Inuwa Yahaya, Abdullahi Sule and Mai Mala Buni.


However, the final list of candidates remains subject to official publication by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the completion of all nomination processes.
