Nollywood has lost another popular actor, Micheal Duro.
National Beam gathered that he died on Tuesday.
This, his colleague and filmmaker, Stanleyontop, confirmed to Premium Times reporter on Thursday.
We further learnt that Michael had been away from active acting for several years due to his deteriorating health. The illness led to the amputation of one of his legs, after which he publicly appealed for assistance with medical care and a prosthetic limb.

“In 2024, despite his challenges, Michael appealed to producers to continue casting him.
“In 2022, he received financial support from Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, who donated ₦5 million towards his treatment, though his condition worsened.
“Michael appeared in several Nollywood movies, including Midnight Love (2003) and The Guilty (2006).
