An advocate for transparency and good governance, Dr. Chima Mattew Amadi, A.K.A Mazi Gburugburu, has called for change, saying that the condition of Imo State is worrisome.
Amadi stated this at Government Technical College in Owerri, the state capital, during the unveiling, and inauguration of The Mazi Organization (TMO) leadership in Owerri Municipal, Owerri North, and Owerri West Federal Constituency.
Speaking, Amadi who is the founder of the organization expressed joy over the turn out of people to the event, averring that the message of change and hope they are spreading is getting to the right audience.

He continued, “We are here to unveil Mazi Organization for Owerri Municipal, Owerri North, and Owerri West Federal Consistency.
“We are engaging in this inauguration to revive the kin interest of the people in the affairs of the state.
“I believe most of us are not happy about the condition of Imo State; the kind of hunger here is dumbfounding, the roads are not motorable, and the educational system is in shambles.
“Imo State has been know for being the best in education, but now in South East we are the last. 98% of all the public schools we have in Imo have all being destroyed. Parents are now taking there children to private schools, and the money they are supposed to use for something else due to the free and quality education then in the state, they are now using it in private schools.
“All these things didn’t start now, but over the years, but it is high time we rise up and tackle the challenge headlong,’Amadi stated.
He further enlisted the vision of The Mazi Organization as providing opportunities for educational growth and development, supporting economic growth through job creation, entrepreneurship, and income-generating projects, offering assistance to vulnerable members of the communities, including the elderly, women, and children, advocating the rights and interests of marginalized communities, among others.
He congratulated the TMOs, and urged them to endeavor to adhere to the mission and vision of the organization for a better Imo.
Present to support the TMO founder were Chief Henry Onwukwe (Apiti), Hon. Blyden Amajirionwu, Hon. Amb. Uche Ogbuagu, and Hon. Michael Crown Onyemaechi, Bishop Prof. Athan Azubuike, Chief Paul Ejiogu, among others.

They praised Dr. Amadi’s vision and urged the people to rally round TMO for a brighter future.
