The Chairmanship Candidates under the platform of All Progressives Congress APC of Ebonyi Local Government Council, Mr Chibueze Odigwe, Helen Aduga of Izzi local Government Council and that of Ivo Local Government Area, Mr Michael Kalu Anyim have promised to step down the people’s charter of needs’ mantra of Governor Francis Nwifuru to the rural areas where the said it is highly needed.
Theses Chairmanship Candidates made these promise when they came to obtain their Nomination and interest forms at the All Progressives Congress APC state Secretariat, water works road in Abakaliki the State Capital.
Chibueze Odigwe, the Chairmanship Candidate for Izzi local Government Area expressed deep joy over his nomination to take the mantle of leadership of Ebonyi local Government Area.
Helen Aduga of Izzi local Government Area said she is going to work with all to ensure speedy transformation of both infrastructure and human capital development in the council.
Michael Kalu Anyim of Ivo Local Government Area said Ivo has been known for it volatile nature and promised to bring permanent peace in the area. “I am going to respect everyone and treat everyone accordingly thereby restoring permanent peace and everyone will be happy.
In an interview, the current chairman of Izzi Local Government Area, Steven Nwankpa said they are going to campaign from door to door to ensure that they emerge winners.
It was gathered that Helen Aduga is going to be the first female chairperson of the Izzi local Government Area since it’s creation.
