I’ll support our Council Chairman to ensure our LGA progresses – Ngor Okpala Vice, Onuoha pledges

The Vice Chairman of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State, and immediate past Sole Administrator of the LGA, Hon. Kizito Onuoha, has assured his people of playing he’s part in ensuring that they are well represented.

Onuoha made the pledge on Wednesday after receiving his Certificate of Return at Imo State Independent Electoral Commission, ISIEC Office in Owerri the state capital.

Speaking to newsmen, he pointed out that as a former SOLAD, he knows the needs of his people and so will support the Council Chairman in tackling it.

According to him, ” I have been in this system for long and aware of the enormous challenges we are to face, and so I want to assure my people that we are not here to party, but we are taking up this position as people who understand the need and yearns of our people.

“I understand our LGA very well. I know that we don’t have roads, as our road network is very poor. I know that our LGA is an Agrarian community, so I understand the need to focus on agriculture. Am aware that we need to churn out quality graduates, and so I understand the need to help boost education in my place.

“We also live in a community where there is serious health challenge, I am going to advise my Chairman for us to look towards that direction.

“As a Vice Chairman, I understand my duty very well, which is to support and represent the Chairman where necessary in ensuring the progress of our LGA.”
